Aqua Security Raises $135M in Series E Funding at $1 Billion Valuation

Aqua Security, a Burlington, MA- and Ramat Gan, Israel-based cloud native security company, completed a $135M Series E funding.

The round, putting total funding to $265 and valuation in excess of $1 Billion, was led by Ion Crossover Partners, with participation from existing investors M12 – Microsoft’s venture fund, Lightspeed Venture Partners, Insight Partners, TLV Partners, Greenspring Associates, and Acrew Capital.

The company intends to use the funds to broaden and deepen its solution portfolio, as well as expand its presence geographically.

Led by Dror Davidoff, CEO, Aqua Security provides the Aqua Cloud Native Security Platform featuring prevention, detection, and response automation across the entire application lifecycle to secure the build, secure cloud infrastructure and secure running workloads wherever they are deployed. Customers are among the world’s largest enterprises in financial services, software, media, manufacturing and retail, with implementations across a broad range of cloud providers and modern technology stacks spanning containers, serverless functions, and cloud VMs.
