Subaio, an Aalborg and Copenhagen, Denmark-based subscription management company, raised €4m in Series A funding.
The round was led by Global Paytech Ventures (GPT), which was founded by Javier Perez, who recently stepped down from Mastercard.
The company intends to use the funds to expand into new European markets and develop new features to its software solution.
Led by CEO and Co-founder Thomas Laursen, Subaio provides a platform that gives people control of their subscriptions, getting access to their subscriptions, cancelling them and receiveing notifications when there are changes to subscriptions, all within their bank’s own interface.
The system used by eight banks in different markets including European market leaders Nordea and ABN Amro.
