Roviero, a San Jose, Calif.-based artificial intelligence startup, raised $6.6M in seed funding.
The round was led by Great Point Ventures with participation from Monta Vista Capital and Dolby Family Ventures.
The company intends to use the funds to expand its development efforts.
Founded by industry veterans and serial entrepreneurs Deepak Mital, Sumat Mehra and Ravi Setty, Roviero is building a first Native Graph AI Processor which addresses the edge AI compute market and enables efficient, ultra-low power and high-performance compute, ideally suited for edge applications such as cameras, IoT devices, mobile phones and computers to be natively intelligent.
