The private backers were not disclosed.
The company intends to use the funds to enhance their existing product, introduce new services, and expand its global reach. Having first launched in India, where it has attracted a significant social media following, the team will now target a worldwide audience of fans across the UK, Asia and Australia.
Led by founder Ben Brown, Cricket-Betting.com is a media company that publishes match predictions, live scores, live commentary, in-play odds comparison and iBetting operator comparisons. They do not offer gambling services but help iBetting operators acquire players.
The site is partnering with many of the world’s foremost sports betting platforms to provide fans up to the second prematch and in-play odds checker.
The company intend to relaunch the site next year with improved design and UX, along with a range of new functions including covering more matches, a betting calculator and a more enhanced match analysis.
