Ben, a London, UK-based employee benefit and reward software company, raised $2.5M in funding.
The round was led by Cherry Ventures and Seedcamp, with participation from angels including Paul Forster of Indeed.com, Taavet Hinrikus of Transferwise, Carlos Gonzalez-Cadenas of GoCardless (now Index Ventures), Philip Reynolds of Workday, and Matt Robinson of Nested.
The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and its business reach.
Co-founded by Sebastian Fallert and David Duckworth, Ben provides a software platform and financial infrastructure which allows SMEs to offer personalized benefits to employees. The system enables companies to personalize benefits and reward for each employee by combining a SaaS platform with per-employee Mastercards and financial infrastructure.
The company now services over 100 companies including Improbable, Lightricks and Impala.
