Adapdix Corporation, a Pleasanton, Calif.-based digital transformation leader in Edge AI automation and intelligent control software, received funding from SoftBank’s Opportunity Fund.
The funding increased the total investment amount secured up to $10m.
The new funds will be used to build the Artificial Intelligence (AI) platform for the edge.
Founded in 2015 by Anthony Hill, CEO, Adapdix provides an innovative software platform , called EdgeOps™, which combines advanced artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI/ML) analytics with a distributed architecture, to enable enterprises to control where the AI data is, at the edge, to increase model accuracy, reduce network cost and congestion, and cut latency.
EdgeOps will initially focus on serving manufacturing companies in the semiconductor, electronics and automotive sectors, with more industries planned for the future.
