Splashtop Inc., a San Jose, Calif.-based leader in next-generation remote access and remote support, closed a $50m financing round.
The round, which brings the valuation of the company beyond $1 billion, was led by Sapphire Ventures, with participation from NEA, DFJ DragonFund, and Storm Ventures.
Led by Mark Lee, co-founder, and CEO, Splashtop delivers cloud-based remote access and remote support software and services for enterprises, academic and research institutions, government agencies, small businesses, MSPs, IT departments, and individuals.
The company Splashtop currently works with 85% of Fortune 500 companies, including Disney, FedEx, General Electric, Marriott and Toyota.
