DCM Promotes David Cheng to Principal

Global venture capital firm DCM promoted David Cheng to Principal.

Cheng was previously the youngest Vice President in the firm’s history and was featured on the Forbes 30 Under 30 Venture Capital list last year.  

He is based in the Bay Area and is a key member of DCM’s U.S.-based team.

As principal, Cheng will continue to focus on investments in consumer services, financial technology, and digital health. Portfolio companies he works with include Bill.com, Brigit, Coffee Meets Bagel, DXY, Plenty and Tempo.

DCM is a venture capital firm based in Silicon Valley, Beijing and Tokyo with over $4.2 billion under management. It has invested in more than 400 early-stage technology companies globally and provides hands-on operational guidance and a global network of business and financial resources.
