Budbee, a Stockholm, Sweden-based logtech startup which offers a delivery service committed to maximising customer satisfaction and efficiency of “the last mile”, raised €52M in funding.
The round, which takes total funding to-date to €92M, was led by AMF, which investing €24M, with participation from existing investors Stena Sessan, Kinnevik, and H&M CO:LAB.
The company will use the funding for international expansion, and to investment in technology and processes that will further enhance the sustainability aspects and customer experience of its services.
Founded in 2015 by Fredrik Hamilton, CEO, Budbee is a delivery startup that provides an app for customers to control over the delivery experience. Via the app, they can specify when they want their parcel delivered, and how the driver should alert them upon their arrival. The company has more than 200 employees, and provides innovative and personalized delivery services to more than 25 million people across Sweden, the Netherlands, Denmark, and Finland.
Services are used by hundreds of large companies including ASOS, Zalando, and H&M.
