Bloomreach Acquires Exponea; Raises $150M


Bloomreach, a Mountain View, CA-based commerce experience company, acquired Exponea, a Customer Data and Experience Platform (CDXP) and received an investment of $150m.

Sixth Street Growth made the investment. Benjamin Johnston, Managing Director of Sixth Street Growth, will join Bloomreach’s Board of Directors.

The company used the funds for the acquisition of Exponea and to accelerate the growth of its digital commerce experience platform (brX).

Led by Peter Irikovsky, CEO, Exponea provides a Customer Data and Experience Platform (CDXP) empowering marketers to be more relevant, efficient, and fast.

Bloomreach’s e-commerce search and content services combined with Exponea’s customer data platform and marketing automation will create an integrated product and customer data platform. This combination accelerates the speed of execution for businesses to create, personalize, and optimize powerful commerce experiences and accelerate revenue growth for both B2C and B2B brands.
