SuperNormal Raises $2M in Seed Funding

SuperNormal

SuperNormal, a Stockholm, Sweden-based AI platform for business video recordings, raised $2m in seed funding.

The round was led by the EQT Ventures fund with participation from angel investors Hampus Jakobsson, David Helgason, Mattias Miksche and Thomas Madsen-Mygdal.

The company intends to use the funds to continue building the communication platform for work, as well as hiring to expand the remote team.

Co-founded by Colin Treseler (CEO) and Fabian Perez in earlier 2020, SuperNormal provides new video and screen recording capabilities to enable teams to create engaging videos for internal and external audiences.

Videos include instant transcripts and AI-powered summaries to help teams get their messages across faster. People can scan through the summaries or skip to the most relevant sections of videos for them. AI detected mentions, comments, reactions, and a deep integration to Slack keep conversation and engagement going. More than 400 teams are using SuperNormal at companies including GitHub, Spotify and Line.
