Bambee, a Los Angeles, CA-based HR offering tailored for small and medium-sized businesses that makes hiring an HR manager affordable for every company, raised $15m in Series-B funding round.
The round, which brought total funding to $32m, was led by QED Investors, with participation from Alpha Edison and Mucker Capital.
The company intends to use the funds to expand its service offerings and its ability to reach millions of small businesses.
Founded in 2016 by CEO Allan Jones, Bambee provides clients with their own dedicated HR manager, from creating and implementing the right HR policies, collecting electronic signatures in its app, and navigating the complex regulatory world of compliance. The company’s HR Managers lead internal investigations, hires, onboarding, furloughs, and implementation of return-to-work procedures.
Jones founded the company after spending three years as ZipRecruiter’s Chief Marketing Officer, leading multiple operating teams including growth. Previously, he was the Head of Product at Docstoc (acquired by Intuit).
