OthersideAI, a Syracuse, N.Y.-based provider of an AI prowered email inbox productivity solution, raised $2.6m in seed funding.
The round was led by Madrona Venture Group with participation from Active Capital, Hustle Fund, Chapter One, and angel investors in AI and SaaS.
The company will use the funding to grow the development team, add support for new email clients, and expand the current feature set to include personal style and tone settings.
Founded by Matt Shumer, Miles Feldstein, and Jason Kuperberg, who met through their association with Syracuse University’s Blackstone LaunchPad & Techstars, OthersideAI provides an AI prowered email inbox productivity solution, turning summaries into emails in seconds, enabling users to save time managing their email correspondence.
Currently available to early beta users as a Chrome Extension, OthersideAI is one of the first commercial products built entirely on GPT-3, the general-purpose AI model from OpenAI which delivers natural-language results for virtually any task.
