Maidbot, an Austin, Texas-based company pioneering commercial service robotics, closed a Series B funding round of undisclosed amount.
The round was led by RB (Reckitt Benckiser) with participation from Octave Ventures, and several VCs alongside hospitality and commercial real estate executives and family offices. Maidbot and RB will collaborate to develop innovative commercial cleaning solutions.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate production and enable deployments across North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific.
Led by Micah Estis Green, president/CEO, Maidbot provides Rosie, a housekeeping robot for hotels and commercial buildings, which navigates intelligently through the space while cleaning floors and collecting operational and environmental data.
Rosie is currently deployed at several of the largest hotel brands.
