ShoppingGives, a Chicago, IL-based Social Impact Commerce platform that offers turn-key social impact and donation processing for retailers, raised $5.5M in seed funding.
The round was led by Caffeinated Capital with participation from Tuesday Capital, SciFi VC, Background Capital, Red Dog Capital, 20VC, Global Founders Capital, Big Future Fund, Rogue Capital, Night Capital, Manresa Ventures, Sugar Capital, among other strategic investors in the eCommerce and fintech space.
The company intends to use the funds to expand its growth.
Led by Founder Ronny Sage, ShoppingGives is a social impact commerce platform for thousands of socially conscious brands including Kenneth Cole, Natori, White + Warren, Margaux, Solstice Sunglasses, Tomboyx, Fresh Clean Tees, Blind Barber, Huron, and Neighborhood Goods to accelerate their growth through integrated social impact. Its suite of social impact marketing technologies enables a data-driven approach to cause-marketing, empowering brands to create more authentic, higher-converting customer experiences by promoting corporate social responsibility – all while maintaining cause marketing regulation, enabling donations to over 1.5M 501c(3) nonprofits.
