JupiterOne Raises $19M in Series A Funding

JupiterOne, Inc., a Morrisville, N.C.-based cyber security company, raised $19m in Series A venture capital funding.

The round was led by Bain Capital Ventures, with participation from Rain Capital, LifeOmic, and individual investors.

The company intends to use the funds to continue to expand operations and its business reach.

Led by Erkang Zheng, founder and CEO, JupiterOne provides CISOs, security operations, and compliance officers with tools to automate asset discovery, visibility and compliance for cloud posture management, risk analysis and compliance reporting, vulnerability management, threat hunting, and incident response. Current customers include leading cloud-native organizations such as Reddit, Databricks, HashiCorp, Addepar, Auth0 and OhMD.

JupiterOne was founded as a subsidiary of LifeOmic, a cloud-native healthcare software company.
