Base, a NYC-based at-home lab testing and digital tracking app provider, announced its brand launch and $1m pre-seed funding.
The round was led by Brooklyn Bridge Ventures, Lakehouse, AmplifyHer Ventures, K50 and angel investors.
Led by Lola Priego, Founder & CEO, Base provides at-home tests that utilize scientific data to help consumers find personalized answers to common day-to-day concerns including brain fog, sleep issues, low sex drive and more. It is launching with TrackDiet, TrackSleep, TrackEnergy, TrackStress, with TrackSexDrive to launch in the Fall. The in-app tracking system measures those biological responses to deliver personalized recommendations and coaching focused on achieving specific health goals over users’ realistic timelines. Base empowers customers to know which supplements to take (if any), determine what is best to eat, and overall be more confident to make better lifestyle and nutritional decisions.
Personalized test plans are available starting at $59/month, and the Base digital tracking app is available for $4.95/month.
