Air, a NY-based provider of a cloud collaboration tool for visual work, raised $12M in Series A funding.
The round, which brought total funding raised to date to $18M, was led by Tiger Global with participation from Lerer Hippeau, WndrCo, Slack Ventures, Red Sea Ventures, and Advancit Capital, as well as individual investors Joe Thomas (Loom), Jenny Fleiss (CEO, Rent the Runway), Nic Jammet (CEO, Sweetgreen) and Brian Lee (CEO, Honest Co).
The company intends to use the new capital to increase talent acquisition and invest in product development.
Launched in February 2020 by CEO Shane Hegde, Air provides a visual collaboration tools for distributed environment. Unlike tools such as Dropbox or Google Drive, the company’s workspace allows teams to organize, search, review and manage visual content that drives brand experience. Air has already attracted a diverse set of clients including Duke Basketball, The Infatuation, Glamsquad, to name a few.
