Keeper Security Closes $60M in Growth Funding

Keeper Security, a Chicago, IL-based provider of a cybersecurity platform for preventing password-related data breaches and cyberthreats, closed a $60m first funding round.

Insight Partners made the minority investment. In conjunction with the funding, Thomas Krane, Principal at Insight Partners, will join Keeper’s Board of Directors.

The company intends to use the funds to accelerate product innovation and expand its global customer base of consumers and businesses.

Led by Darren Guccione, CEO and Co-founder, and led by Craig Lurey, CTO and Co-founder, Keeper Security is a patented cybersecurity platform for preventing password-related data breaches and cyberthreats. Its zero-knowledge security and encryption software is used by millions of people and thousands of businesses across the globe to mitigate the risk of cybertheft, boost employee productivity and meet compliance standards.
