Food-X Technologies Raises $2.6M in Follow-On Funding

Food-X Technologies, a Vancouver, British Columbia-based scalable end-to-end software solution for profitable online grocery fulfilment, received follow-on $2.6m from the Digital Technology Supercluster.

The company will use the funds to enhance its eGrocery Management Solution (eGMS) for retailers to scale safe food delivery and to continue leading the collaboration of prominent companies, including Microsoft, Adaptech, AltaML, ETG Consulting, Routific, OpsGuru and Spud.

Led by founder and Chief Executive Officer Peter van Stolk, Food-X Technologies provides a SaaS eGrocery management system for frontline workers to manage the online demand, scale safe food delivery throughput and compete in the digital economy. The solution integrates with existing ERP systems, legacy grocery systems, warehouse automation and robotics. The Digital Technology Supercluster solves some of industry’s and society’s biggest problems through Canadian-made technologies. We bring together private and public sector organizations of all sizes to address challenges facing Canada’s economic sectors including healthcare, natural resources, manufacturing, and transportation.
