Click&Boat, a global boat rentals company, acquired Spanish competitor Nautal.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
Nautal currently manages more than 31,000 boats in 67 countries. The acquisition represents a major step for Click&Boat to accelerate its international expansion. The platform will now offer 10,000 more boats adding Miami, Los Angeles, the Caribbean, and Mexico.
Created in 2013 by Edouard Gorioux and Jérémy Bismuth, Click&Boat is a boat rental site that matches boat owners who want to earn extra income with sailing enthusiasts who can rent a boat at low costs. The group intends to develop new products and services for their community worldwide and aims to reach $115M in 2021, compared to $57M already achieved in 2019. With a new office in Barcelona, Click&Boat now employs 150 people and connects a community of approximately one million users.
