Vernacare, a UK -based infection prevention company and HIG Europe portfolio company, acquired the Infection Prevention business from Frontier Medical Group.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
The acquired businesses including the brands Sharpsafe®, Clinisafe® and eXchange™ provide an extensive range of sharps and clinical waste disposal solutions.
Led by James Steele, Chief Executive Officer, Vernacare is a supplier of everyday healthcare essentials including single-use toileting systems, personal hygiene, environmental cleaning, skin integrity and surgical solutions.
