Sequoia Closes Two India and Southeast Asia Funds Totalling $1.35 Billion

Global venture capital firm Sequoia Capital closed two funds focused on India and Southeast Asia.

The vehicles total $1.35 billion including:

– a $525m venture fund and

– an $825m growth fund.

Sequoia is a global venture capital firm which support founders in building companies from idea to IPO and beyond. In partnering with the firm, companies can benefit from (48 years of) high level knowledge coming from working with founders like Steve Jobs, Larry Ellison, Larry Page, Jan Koum, Brian Chesky, Drew Houston, Adi Tatarko, Julia Hartz and Jack Dorsey, among many others.

The firm’s India and SEA arm has made several investments over the years, including Byju’s, GoJek, Tokopedia, Zilingo, PineLabs, Unacademy, RazorPay and Khatabook, among others.
