Fisker Inc., a Los Angeles, CA-based maker of electric vehicles, raused $50m in Series C financing.
The round was funded by Moore Strategic Ventures, the private investment vehicle of Louis M. Bacon.
The company intends to use the proceeds for the next phase of engineering work on the Fisker Ocean all-electric luxury SUV – due for launch in 2022.
Led by chairman and CEO Henrik Fisker, chief technology officer Burkhard Huhnke Fisker, senior vice president of engineering Martin Welch and communications advisor to the CEO Simon Sproule, Fisker is the designer and manufacturer of electric vehicles and advanced mobility solutions.
