env0, a Tel Aviv, Israel-based developer of self-service cloud management software platform, raised $3.5m in seed extension funding.

The round, which brought total funding to $6.8m, was led by Crescendo Venture Partners with participation from new investor M12 – Microsoft’s venture fund and existing investors Boldstart Ventures and Grove Ventures.

The new funds will be used to continue expanding product R&D, as well as accelerate its go-to-market.

Founded in 2018 by CEO Ohad Maislish and CTO Omry Hay, env0 provides a comprehensive automation and management platform for DevOps and R&D organizations to self-provision resources in any virtual environment or public cloud. Instead of waiting for their support ticket to be serviced, env0 allows developers to focus on creating new cloud applications in line with governance policies. The company has offices in New York and Silicon Valley.
