Cazoo, a UK online car retailer, acquired Imperial Car Supermarkets, a used car retailer in the UK.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
The deal, which combines Cazoo’s digital capabilities and platform with Imperial’s infrastructure and expertise, will provide Cazoo with a national network of storage, distribution, after sales and collection hubs.
Established in 2006, Imperial Car Supermarkets is an independent used car supermarket, with locations in Birmingham, Bishop Auckland, Bristol, Cardiff, Chertsey, Exeter, Fleet, Grangemouth, Halesowen, Ipswich, Mountsorrel, Newport Pagnell, Northampton, Portsmouth, Southampton, Swanwick, Tamworth and Wembley. It offers a wide range of over 2,500 nearly new and used cars and the retail locations are supported by 14 service centres and 2 preparation centres, with group services supplied from its HQ in Southampton.
