The backers were not disclosed.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate product development and manufacturing.
Founded in 2014 by Dr. Adnan Mjalli, who has patented hundreds of pharmaceuticals and formulations beneficial to the human condition, and also led by Steve Prescott, President, Bien-Etre Labs is a nutraceutical research, discovery and development company focusing on pre- and probiotic products to regulate the human biome, as well as researching, designing and developing novel approaches to healthy aging and longevity. The company aims to provide solutions in the fields of metabolic disorders, digestive health, allergies, skin health, IBS, and strengthening the immune system.
