Ujet Raises $55M in Series C Funding

Ujet Inc., a San Francisco, CA-based provider of cloud contact center solutions, raised $55m in Series C round of funding.

The round, which brought total funding to just over $100m to date, was led by Sapphire Ventures, with participation from existing investors such as GV (formerly Google Ventures), Citi Ventures, Kleiner Perkins, DCM, and Resolute Ventures. Jai Das, Managing Director, President, and Co-Founder at Sapphire Ventures will join UJET’s Board of Directors.

The company intends to use the funds to expand sales and marketing teams both domestic and international, and scale its platform with new products and features.

Led by Anand Janefalkar, Founder & CEO, Ujet provides cloud contact center solutions for organizations to create an improved experience for their customers. It is used by customer-centric, innovative enterprises including Google, Instacart, Green Dot Corporation, and iZettle, a PayPal service, to automate contact center processes.
