Swile Raises €70M in Series C Funding

Swile (FKA Lunchr), a Paris, France-based provider of an app for life at work, raised €70M in Series C funding.

The round, which brought total funding raised to date to €115m, was led by Index Ventures with participation from new investor Large Venture and existing investor Idinvest.

The company intends to use the funds to launch a new product that enables corporate gifts and expand internationally.

Led by Loïc Soubeyrand, founder and CEO, Swile provides a card which brings together all the employee benefits including restaurant vouchers, gift vouchers, mobility vouchers through a dedicated app.

Its card has no payment limit, which goes through the 220,000 establishments accepting restaurant titles and offering a multitude of options to personalize it as needed. It is also a gift card valid online and everywhere in France, giving access to the widest ticketing network (theaters, cinemas, amusement parks, trips or hotels), offering discounts in major brands and being compatible with Apple Pay and Google Pay.

Swile also simplifies all moments of team life thanks to its exclusive features: 100% free prize pools (zero commission, Swile excluded), reimbursements between colleagues, bill sharing, instant messaging, organization of events, and lunches at reduced prices.
