Raises $4M in Seed Funding

searchable, a San Francisco, CA-based creator of a new class of “Conversational Search” technology, raised $4M in seed funding.

The round was led by Susquehanna International Group and Omicron Media with participation from Defy Partners, NextView Ventures, and angel investors.

The company intends to use the funds to hire additional scientists and engineers, and further build out the product.

Led by Brian Shin, co-founder & CEO, Searchable is a new kind of Conversational Search engine for work—leveraging patent-pending Neural Indexing technology to cut through the clutter and find the exact file, information, or answer users need.

  • Processes natural language questions to find the answer in any file regardless of format or location
  • Anticipates and indexes all possible “answers” and insights in documents so that this information is available at fingertips
  • Understands context and meaning to surface contextually relevant and personalized results that improve over time
