Hydrow, a Cambridge, Mass.-based provider of a Live Outdoor Reality™ (LOR) rower, secured $25m in financing.
The round was led by L Catterton, with participation from existing investors Rx3 Ventures (co-founded by Greenbay Packers Quarterback Aaron Rodgers). This extension will bring the total capital raised to $52m.
The company intends to use the funds for content expansion and increased marketing outreach.
Founded by Bruce Smith, CEO, Hydrow provides a fitness player that brings patent-protected, Live Outdoor Reality™ (LOR) directly at home with instruction from athletes streaming live on the water in cities such as Miami, London, and San Francisco.
