HeadLight Raises $25M in Funding

HeadLight (formerly named Pavia Systems), a Seattle, WA-based photo-based inspection technology company, secured $25.6M in Series B funding.

Viking Global Investors made the investment.

The company intends to use the funds to continue to expand its product and scale operations.

Founded in 2005 and led by CEO George White and Si Katara, President, HeadLight allows customers to capture, interpret and act on data in the field, saving them time and money through more accurate photo-based inspections. Since its launch, the company has become a partner to state and municipal infrastructure owners, engineering firms, contractors, and suppliers across the United States. It has captured over 2 million inspection observations on over $20B of infrastructure projects for customers including the State of Louisiana, the Contra Costa Transportation Authority, and Jacobs Engineering.
