Accenture (NYSE: ACN) is to acquire Sentelis, a Paris, France-based independent data consulting and engineering company.

The amount of the deal was not disclosed.

The acquisition, which requires prior consultation with the relevant works councils and would be subject to customary closing conditions, would strengthen Accenture’s analytics, AI and ML/data engineering business in France. Sentelis would join Accenture Applied Intelligence.

Led by Isabelle Regnier and Jean-Baptiste Ceccaldi, executive director and president, Sentelis specializes in designing and scaling data and artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities. With a focus on industrializing AI and big data technologies, the firm has more than 50 highly skilled professionals, including data and AI advisors, architects and engineers. Founded in 2011, Sentelis has served numerous clients, including some of the largest French companies, to architect, engineer and scale adapted and secure data-centric architecture, enabling them to accelerate business innovation.
