The round was led by Guild Capital.
The company intends to use the funds to expand its portfolio with new product offering human-grade dog food.
Founded in 2018 by Russell Breuer, Spot & Tango is a pet health and wellness brand focused on making fresh, nutritious, healthy and sustainable dog food accessible to all. Through a questionnaire, the company customizes meal plans based on a dog’s age, weight, breed, and lifestyle.
The company has just announced the launch of UnKibble, a fresh dry dog food, which joined its existing portfolio of fresh-prepared dog food recipes.
UnKibble is currently available in three varieties: Beef & Barley, Chicken & Brown Rice, and Duck & Salmon. Subscriptions start at $9 per week, and pricing varies based on each dog’s nutritional needs.
