Particle Health Secures $12M in Series A Funding

Particle Health, a NYC-based digital healthcare company, raised $12m in Series A funding.

The round was led by Menlo Ventures, with participation from existing investors Collaborative Fund, Story Ventures and Company Ventures and executives from Flatiron Health, Clover Health, Plaid, Petal and Hometeam. Greg Yap, Partner at Menlo Ventures, joined the Particle Health board of directors.

The company intends to use the funds to continue to expand operations and its business reach.

Founded in December 2017 by CEO Troy Bannister and CTO Dan Horbatt, Particle Health provides secure access to vital patient health data by leveraging a HIPAA compliant API. Over 1.4M record transactions have already been completed using its API by top tier telemedicine, pharmacy and virtual health companies.
