ClimateView, a Stockholm, Sweden-based provider of a software platform for cities to become carbon neutral, raised €2.3M in funding.

The round was led by Norrsken Foundation, the Swedish impact hub created by Klarna co-founder Niklas Adalberth, and Nordic Makers, the angel syndicate of the co-founders of European unicorns Unity Technologies, Zendesk, and Sitecore, with participation from Max Ventures, GGV Capital and European climate investor Hampus Jakobsson.

The company intends to use the funds to further improve the platform and hire new people.

Led by CEO and founder Tomer Shalit, ClimateView provides a software platform featuring environmental data, policies and proposals to power nations, cities and companies in their decision and policy-making processes on climate. The tool provides both an overview of the work towards tackling climate change as well as the ability to drill down into the more granular detail, including the current CO2 emissions per sector, proposed and approved policies, and indicators of the progress made.
