AlertMedia, an Austin, Texas-based emergency communication software provider, raised $15m in Series C funding.
The round was led by existing investors including JMI Equity, Next Coast Ventures, and Silverton Partners.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate product innovation, continue to expand operations and its business reach.
Led by CEO Brian Cruver, AlertMedia is a provider of emergency communications technology platform now supporting more than 2,000 enterprise customers including Walmart, DHL, Greyhound, Healthgrades, as well as prominent organizations in all industries across more than 100 countries to monitor threats, streamline communications, and improve employee safety. Organizations communicates with their employees during critical events like severe weather, workplace violence, and the current COVID-19 pandemic. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, customers are using the platform to send and receive two-way messages, manage operational changes, perform wellness-checks, and dispatch critical communications to their employees–keeping them safe, informed, and connected.
