Sharpist, a Berlin, Germany-based digital ecosystem for personalized learning & development, raised $5m in seed financing.
The round was led by Vorwerk Ventures, with participation from co-investors btov Partners and APX. As part of the funding, Holger Witte, Partner at Vorwerk Ventures, will join Sharpist’s Advisory Board.
The company plans to use the funds to deepen the capabilities of its personalized learning platform, scale its implementations with new and existing clients around the world, and build its global network of coaches and team of experts in Berlin.
Co-founded by Fabian Niedballa and Hendrik Schriefer, joined by new CPO Khurram Masood, Sharpist is a digital ecosystem for personalized learning and development. Professionals at all levels and stages of their careers use the platform to grow, develop and stay engaged at work. The ecosystem offers access to a global network of executive coaches, digitally-enabled development plans that deliver measurable, personalized learning at scale, and a mobile-first platform that can be accessed anywhere, anytime.
Since being founded in 2018, employees at hundreds of organizations in over 30 markets have completed tens of thousands of sessions through the site. The company has a team of over 40 experts in technology, workplace psychology and professional development.
