HealthJoy Raises $30M in Series C Funding

HealthJoy, a Chicago, IL-based health tech startup, raised $30m in Series C funding.

The round was led by Health Velocity Capital with participation from existing investors U.S. Venture Partners, Chicago Ventures, Epic Ventures, Brandon Cruz, and Clint Jones, co-founders of GoHealth. In conjunction with the funding, Saurabh Bhansali, Partner at Health Velocity Capital, will be joining HealthJoy’s Board of Directors.

The company plans to use the proceeds to accelerate the development of its core platform and services, to integrate with more partners and hire in Chicago with a planned expansion of over 200 employees through 2021.

Led by Justin Holland, CEO and Co-Founder, HealthJoy provides companies with a benefits experience platform for employees to use and understand their benefits through personalized guidance and AI technology.
