Elementor Raises $15M in First Funding

Elementor, a Tel Aviv, Israel-based WordPress website builder platform, raised $15m in funding.

Lightspeed Venture Partners made the investment.

The company will use the funding to accelerate the expansion of its operation and its global community, with 500 meetups planned around the world for 2020, grow its team by 50%, and make major product launches soon.

Founded in 2016 by Yoni Luksenberg and Ariel Klikstein, Elementor provides a web building platform to enable professional web creators to build websites according to their specific needs. Its open-source, drag-and-drop platform is used by design, development and marketing professionals globally. Overall, over 4 million websites have been built using the platform which is available in 55 languages.
