Trainiac, a Seattle, WA-based online, personal training platform that connects users with their own accredited trainer, has raised $2.2m in funding to date.
The backers were not disclosed.
The company intends to use the funds to expand in Canada and Europe.
Led by Akshay Ahooja, CEO and co-founder, Trainiac is a one-on-one personal training fitness platform that connects users with certified trainers.
The company offers a variety of workout genres that provides a holistic fitness experience for its members, allowing them to have complete control over the implementation of workouts into their already-busy lives.
