TestFit Inc., a Dallas, TX-based building configuration software leveraging practical generative design, secured $2m in seed funding.

Parkway Venture Capital made the investment.

The company intends to use the funds to further invest in its technology and to expand its reach as a design software as a service for architecture.

Led by Clifton Harness, CEO, TestFit combines user knowledge with proprietary AI algorithms to provide a multifamily prototyping solution which uses generative design that produces results in seconds. The company’s proprietary AI-powered algorithm and intuitive workflow enable architects, real estate developers and general contractors to start utilizing practical generative design immediately.

Upon installing the app, site reliability and feasibility planners can run simulations, using a wide assortment of parameters, ensuring maximum control and customization over the site planning and design. With a few clicks, architects can swap unit styles, move generated amenities into specific locations, and create customized parking facilities. Architects, real estate developers and general contractors use it to bring their designs to life in an efficient manner.
