Stasher, a London, UK-based luggage storage startup, raised $2.5m in funding.

The round was led by VentureFriends, with participation from Johan Svanstrom, former president of Hotels.com.

Led by Jacob Wedderburn-Day, CEO and Co-founder, and Anthony Collias, CCO and Co-founder, Stasher is a sharing economy network for luggage storage. It connects users with hotels and stores that can keep a luggage safe while people enjoy time in a city.

The company has already launched in over 250 cities and currently works with large partners like Klook, Sonder, Marriott, and Hotels.com in cities worldwide. It is expanding its global network of hotels and stores with extra space
