Host, a Boston, MA-based application-based platform connecting corporations with certified and insured bartenders, closed a $450k seed funding.
Backers included private domestic investors led by Ian Levine.
The company intends to use the funds to scale, expand market share and focus on product development.
Co-founded by Michelle Carazas and Brian Megill, Host provides an application that allows corporate businesses to secure trusted bartenders for their events on-demand. The company launched in 2018 with a multi-sided platform application, which allows corporations to post details about their event and secure a bartender.
