Levelset, a New Orleans, Louisiana-based provider of platform for contractors to get paid, raised $30 in funding.
The round was led by Horizons Ventures with participation from S3 Ventures, Altos Ventures, Operating Venture Capital, Michael Gollner, and Darren Bechtel of Brick & Mortar Ventures. Horizons Ventures’ Bart Swanson will join Levelset’s Board of Directors.
Levelset has raised $47 million to date.
The company plans to use its financing to continue developing products and to accelerate growth.
Led by CEO Scott Wolfe, Levelset provides a software platform, a library of free educational resources, data-driven payment insights, roster of payment and legal experts, and industry partnerships that simplify the payment process in the construction business.
The company also has offices in Austin, Texas, and Cairo, Egypt, and has over 200 employees.
