SalesLoft Buys Costello

salesloftSalesLoft, an Atlanta, GA-based provider of a sales engagement platform, acquired Costello, a provider of opportunity management software.

The amount of the deal was not disclosed.

Led by Frank Dale, CEO, Costello provides opportunity management software with quick deal updates, guided selling playbooks, pipeline collaboration, and real-time sync to CRM.

The acquisition furthers SalesLoft’s mission to enable account executives to prospect and build pipeline, manage their day and their deals, from creation through close. With Costello, the company will improve the way how they serve revenue professionals of all levels, including sales development reps, account executives, and sales leaders, with features including deal management, dashboards, guided-selling playbooks, and dynamic note taking.
The company already announced an enhanced API integration with SalesLoft last year, which allows joint customers to proactively manage opportunities from within SalesLoft. The combined organization will continue to support existing Costello customers, invest and enhance product capabilities, and natively integrate Costello capabilities into the SalesLoft platform.

Led by Kyle Porter, CEO and co-founder, SalesLoft provides more than 2,300 companies with a sales engagement platform that allows global sales teams to close revenue and deliver an improved buying experiences at scale. The company has more than 450 employees across its offices in Atlanta, San Francisco, London, and Guadalajara, Mexico.
