RenoRun Raises $22.5M in Series A Funding

RenoRun, an Austin, Texas and Montreal, Canada-based technology-enabled construction material delivery service, secured CA$22.5m in Series A funding.

The round was co-led by Inovia Capital and Obvious Ventures, with participation from ScaleUp Ventures, Real Ventures, Maple VC and Silicon Valley Bank.

The company intends to use the funds to scale business in each of existing cities and to continue employee growth.

Founded by Eamonn O’Rourke, Joelle Chartrand, and Devlin Chartrand, RenoRun provides an app to for contractors to save time and money by planning, sourcing and delivering scheduled or just-in-time building supplies and materials quickly directly to the jobsite.
During the past 12 months, the company has seen more than 300% customer growth and has grown to 90 employees. It is currently delivering materials in the Canadian cities of Toronto and Montreal, as well as in the U.S. city of Austin, Texas with plans to expand geographically in 2020.
