LogRocket Raises $15M in Series B Funding

LogRocketLogRocket, a Boston, MA-based maker of a front-end application performance management (APM) solution, raised $15M in Series B round of funding.

The round was led by Battery Ventures with participation from Matrix Partners.

The company intends to use the funds to continue growing headcount and invest in continuing to expand the functionality of its solution.

Founded in 2016 by Matthew Arbesfeld and Ben Edelstein, LogRocket provides LogRocket Metrics, an APM solution built specifically to understand the complex issues that arise in web applications. It ties together session replay and APM in a dashboarding solution that anyone can use, regardless of technical ability.
LogRocket Metrics enables teams to understand how performance is affected by factors including: network requests, JavaScript execution, local resource access, CPU load, and memory usage whether it comes from the back end, CDN layer, internet connectivity, JavaScript performance, client devices, or elsewhere.
Teams can define any user transaction in the UI and instantly see retroactive data. This allows them to understand how an issue affects customers so that it can be prioritized and addressed accordingly.

Over the past six months, the company has doubled its customer base, recently surpassing 1,000 customers, with particular traction in SaaS, finance, healthcare, and government applications. Existing users include AirBnB, Bloomberg, Reddit, Ikea, Brex, Kaplan, Cargurus, FDNY, and Waste Management.
