Geenee Secures $7M in Seed Funding

geeneeGeenee, Inc., a Los Angeles, CA-based mobile software platform for brands to engage their audiences, closed a $7m seed funding round.

The round was led by IDI Partners.

The company intends to use the funds to accelerate its go-to-market strategy and introduce additional product offerings.

Led by Sandro Christen, CEO, Geenee provides brands and agencies with a software platform to engage their audiences by enabling consumers to recognize, engage, and shop the physical world around them. Using its patented, browser-based image and video recognition, the company’s technology allows portable devices to trigger rich, contextual content and e-commerce at the moment of inspiration.
The round follows new partnerships with global brands and agencies including Warner Bros., Publicis and Miller Lite.
