Conservation Labs Raises $1.7M in Seed Funding

waterConservation Labs, Inc., a Pittsburgh, PA-based maker of a smart water monitor, raised a $1.7m in seed funding.

The round was led by IrishAngels with participation from the Amazon Alexa Fund, Serra Ventures, Mountain State Capital, and Innovation Works. Lauren DeLuca from IrishAngels will join the board with the seed round.

The company intends to use the funds to launch its H2know.

Led by Mark Kovscek, Founder and CEO, Conservation Labs is advancing H2know, a product that monitors water use and delivers actionable water insights, leak alerts and custom conservation recommendations via a sensor and app.
It will launch in early 2020 to commercial customers, starting with multi-family properties and restaurants, followed by the residential sector.

The company is a graduate of the Alexa Accelerator, powered by Techstars.
